Verify a certificate
Every Kognita certificate carries a verification code. Enter it here to see the date of issue and the result.
What the verification code proves
Every certificate carries a code in the form KG-XXXX-XXXX. It is issued at purchase and printed on the PDF. Entering it here shows the value, the confidence interval and the number of correct answers as they are stored with us. If these match the document you were given, that document came from this test.
Why this page exists
A PDF can be altered in minutes. A number printed on one proves nothing by itself. Only the source can prove it, and the source is here. Checking needs no account and costs nothing, so that the person who is merely handed the certificate can check it too.
What the certificate does not do
It records the result of a short online test, nothing more. It is not an official document, not a professional psychological assessment and not a basis for school placement or a hiring decision. Those require a standardised procedure carried out by a qualified professional. Every value shown also carries a confidence interval, and that interval is part of the statement.
